About Me

I'm a seasoned software developer and technology entrepreneur from Ylivieska, Finland. For more than 30 years, I've been designing and building digital solutions that make everyday life easier - from custom web applications and automation systems to secure, high-performance cloud infrastructures.

My relationship with code and systems goes back to the mid-1990s - for better and for worse. Before reaching adulthood, I was already maintaining some of Finland's largest file sharing services, which gave me an early, hands-on understanding of infrastructure, scale, and the responsibilities that come with it.

Over the years, I've worked across just about every domain imaginable - building games for nearly every platform, developing a full ERP system from the ground up, creating integrations, and delivering custom software solutions for businesses of all sizes. The breadth of that experience is what defines how I approach problems today.

As the founder and managing director of Bytedev Oy, I'm dedicated to creating open-source-friendly, privacy-focused software solutions. My work combines technical precision with a deep belief in transparency, quality, and the power of local innovation.

I also founded Bitecore - Ylivieska's first game development company - and I'm still actively creating games today. Bitecore now operates under Bytedev Oy, continuing to build new titles that blend nostalgic gameplay with modern design.

Beyond technology, I'm actively involved in community leadership through Junior Chamber International (JCI). I served as President of JCI Kalajokilaakso in 2025, and in 2026 I serve as Regional IT Manager (R-ITM) at JCI Finland, supporting the organisation's digital development and IT operations across the region.

And through all of it, I'm trying to be a good husband and father to my two children - which, honestly, might be the most demanding and rewarding project of them all.
